Itu yang menjadi pertanyaanku bertahun-tahun, ketika hanya bisa scroll postingan stranger atau teman yang membagikan pengalaman mereka naik pesawat dan duduk di kursi business class sedangkan hamba masih harus mengedit buanyak sekali naskah, atau menulis naskah untuk tayang keesokan harinya. Sebentar, menulis naskah untuk tayang besok, tapi kok malah scroll postingan orang, sih? Heyyy~~, hamba juga butuh refreshing sejenak dari deadline yang melanda, wahai padukaaaaa!
Refreshing sekaligus khayal-khayal unyu gitu, membayangkan kursi yang superlega, superempuk, pramugari yang mengantarkan makanan tanpa henti dengan sajian makanan seperti di restoran mahal yang tampaknya enak tiada tara, boleh minta sparkling wine, boleh minta jus apel tiga liter kalo mau, tipinya geda, terus kalo mau tidur nggak perlu khawatir nyender ke bahu penumpang di sebelah secara itu kursi business class bisa jadi kasur… Aduh, mau dong, sekali-kali merasakan naik bitnit klas…
Lantas, apakah hamba merasa iri? OH TENTU SAJA! BOHONG BESAR KALAU BILANG NGGAK IRI LIAT POSTINGAN ORANG NAIK PESAWAT DUDUK DI BUSINESS CLASS DAN AKU NGGAK IRI HEY, HAMBA HANYA MANUSIA BIYASAK! (mz, mz, bentar, jangan ngegas, dong…)
Lalu, bertahun-tahun kemudian, mimpi itu menjadi nyata. Nggak cuma sekali, tetapi berulang kali. Ada yang dari media trip, ada juga beli business class dari kocek sendiri, hasil berburu tiket diskon ehe ehe ehe. Dan ternyata, memanglah benar bahwa pelayanan naik business class itu beda jauh dari kelas ekonomi #youdontsay.
Dari Qatar Airways ke Turkish ke SQ ke Garuda ke Cathay Pacific, udah pernah aku jajal semua business class-nya. Memang semenyenangkan itu. Mulai dari proses check-in yang teramat sangat mudah, nggak perlu antre lama-lama karena ada jalurnya sendiri, masuk pesawat duluan, jatah bagasi yang jauh lebih banyak ketimbang naik ekonomi.
Lalu, pramugari yang hafal nama aku, kursi empuk yang menjelma menjadi flatbed, mau champagne tinggal minta, mau cokelat premium tinggal tunjuk, bahkan di A380 Qatar, ada highest bar in the sky. Jadi, ini semacam bar di angkasa yang boleh ditongkrongi penumpang business class dan first class. Mau minuman apa pun, sebanyak apa pun, ada dan boleh. Terserah aja. Suka-suka.
Untuk long haul flight, emang berasa banget sih enaknya naik business class. Toiletnya aja beda. Amenities merk premium semua. Di beberapa airlines, disediakan piyama (dan boleh kita bawa pulang!). Ketika mau tidur, pramugarinya dengan senang hati membantu kita untuk menyulap kursi menjadi kasur, lengkap dengan bantal dan selimut. Bantal kurang banyak? Ya tinggal minta lagi. Kelaperan tengah malam? Tinggal minta, langsung dikasih makanan yang kita mau (yang tentunya tersedia di flight itu, ya).
Waktu balik dari Madrid ke Jakarta, aku dikasih cake ulang tahun karena pas tanggal 5 Februari itu ulang tahunku, lalu diajak toast champagne dan dinyanyikan lagu ulang tahun oleh in flight manager dan sederet pramugari. Aku nggak akan pernah lupa pengalaman ini. Kali pertama merayakan ulang tahun di pesawat, dengan muka bantal karena dibangunkan dari tidur. Hahaha!
Punya akun miles dari airlines bersangkutan? Aduh, nilai miles tiket business class berlipat-lipat dibanding ekonomi. Jadi, kalau aku ditanya, worth it nggak sih naik business class? Jawabanku tentu saja, luar biasa worth it! It elevates the flying experience by many, many levels. Jangan lupakan, ada buanyak sekali promo yang bisa kita cek.
Contohnya nih, Oman Air pernah ngasih promo terbang dari Jakarta ke Milan atau Zurich, naik business class tentunya, seharga 13 juta saja. PP! Mari ulang: Business Class, Jakarta – Milan atau Jakarta – Zurich, 13 juta, PP. Atau waktu aku ke Amsterdam naik Turkish, 18 juta saja pulang pergi. Harga normal berapa? Ya mulai dari 30an juta. Lumayan banget, kan? Belum lagi kalau kamu redeem miles.
Kalau lewat app travel gitu bisa apa nggak? Bisaaaa! Aku yakin kalian udah pada punya aplikasi Traveloka, kan? Jadi silakan cari penerbangan business class di app-nya. Kalau khawatir akan perubahan jadwal penerbangan kalian, tenang, di Traveloka bisa kok reschedule gitu. Kena biaya tambahan nggak? Tentu tidak. Free of charge! Coba liat screenshot ini kalau masih bingung (walau harusnya sih nggak, soalnya simple banget kan app Traveloka itu).
